What a great success the 2013 Mid Autumn Festival Opera was for the KCAC Chinese Activity group this year. After many rehearsals and much organising, the group put on a spectacular show at the Marana Auditorium at Hurstville on the 25th of September. Approximately 900 people attended this event and Marana Auditorium was a full house. Kingsgrove Community Aid Centre would like to thank Sandra Mak for all her work in organising this event and the Chinese Activity/Opera Group at KCAC for their performance. We would also like to thank Councillor Nancy Liu, Mr David Linden and Brenda Eggleton from Hurstville Council for all their support. Thank you to David Coleman Member for Banks for his speech on the day and also to Anne Farah Hill KCAC CEO for her speech as well as KCAC Board Members Peter Byrne, Po Lin Chen and Douglas O'Hare for attending on the day. We hope to celebrate this important event in the Chinese Calendar again next year.
