Neighbourhood Centre Week 2014 was 12th - 18th May this year.
The theme of Neighbourhood Centre Week 2014 for this year is Being, Belonging, Becoming.
On Thursday the 15th of May KCAC held an Open Day for the local community to celebrate Neighbourhood Centre Week. The event was very successful and the weather was perfect. Over 100 pieces of information were given out to the local residents and over 100 yummy sausage sizzle sandwiches were shared with the local community.
Many Thanks to everyone who volunteered their time to help out today. Our Aged Care Coordinator Ms Gurmeed Nelson, did a fantastic job cooking the sausage sizzle and was assisted by our great volunteers, Ruth and Marta who helped hand out the sandwiches, while CEO Anne Farah-Hill and OOSH Coordinator Katina Papadakis manned the front information table and greeted all who arrived.
