2014 marks the Year of the Horse in the Chinese calendar and this year the Kingsgrove Community Aid Centre held an exciting and colourful celebration together with the local community to bring in the Year of the Horse, where 120 people atte...nded from both the Mandarin and Cantonese speaking community along with some special VIP guests.
We would like to thank all who attended the event, but a special thank you to our special guests on the day: Mr Mark Coure MP State Memeber for Oatley, Mr Nick Varvaris Federal member for Barton and his electorate advisor Mr Jieke Zhou, Mr Chris Minns, standing Candidate for the seat of Kogarah (representing Cherie Burton), Deputy Mayor of Hurstville Council, councillor Nancy Liu, Councillor Vince Badalati, Brenda Eggleton and David Linden from Hurstville Council.
